Margens, bordas e limites são demarcações de um buraco, dos muitos buracos feitos no chão de uma das salas do matadouro. A ideia de margem está referida ao conto A terceira margem do rio, de Guimarães Rosa:
A primeira margem de BURACOS pode ser buscada nos muitos encontros com os outros artistas, com suas diferentes poéticas, em contestações contra uma Cidade sem Janelas (tema desta edição do Arte/Cidade).
A segunda margem se liga a outros trabalhos esburacados de minha autoria – furos no papel, com fogo, com faca, com as mãos, com os dedos, à força.
A terceira margem, o fundo, se ancora no lugar – o pavilhão do matadouro, o edifício e sua história ­– lugar nenhum, passagens, buracos, túneis, túmulos, covas, cavernas. [CG]
